Abstract

QTcd was significantly increased by exercise in the angina group, possibly reflecting impaired repolarization due to ischemia. Inhibition of the increase in QTd by beta-blockers suggested a possible preventive effect on severe arrhythmias due to nonhomogeneous ventricular repolarization.
