Colored-Quark Version of Some Hadronic Puzzles

Abstract

A simple picture based on colored quarks and gluons yields ${\ensuremath{\alpha}}_{\ensuremath{\rho}}(0)=\frac{1}{2}$, ${\ensuremath{\alpha}}_{\ensuremath{\Delta}}(0)=0$, and ${\ensuremath{\alpha}}_{\mathrm{P}}(0)=1$, and explains various features of Pomeron exchange.
