Abstract

* Rodney Allen is a consultant in industrial safety and health and an Environmental Science Officer in the United States Army (Res.). He directed Safety and Industrial Hygiene at the Electric Boat Division of the General Dynamics Corporation in Groton, Connecticut from 1988-1994, and he has recently completed a six-month tenure coordinating environmental health activities for the US Army at Guantanamo Bay among Cuban refugee civilians. He is also an adjunct Professor of Industrial Health and Safety at the University of New Haven.
