Comparative cytotoxicity of five root canal sealers on cultured human periodontal ligament fibroblasts

Abstract

Canals was the most toxic sealer, followed by Topseal. Sealapex and Tubliseal had comparable and moderate cytotoxicity to PDL fibroblasts, whereas Canals-N showed little cytotoxicity. Exposure to Tubliseal may modulate MTT reduction in PDL fibroblasts. Canals-N had good biocompatibility.
