ADDITION COMPOUNDS OF TITANIUM(IV) CHLORIDE CONTAINING ELEMENTS OF GROUPS V AND VI AS DONOR ATOMS

Abstract

Complexes TiCl 4 . L where L is a mono- or bi-dendate ligand having P, As, S, or Se as donor atom were prepared. Triphenylphosphine and dialkyl sulfide also form complexes TiCl 4 .2L. Far infrared data are presented for certain of the complexes.
