Percutaneous cecostomy in the management of organic fecal incontinence in children

Abstract

Percutaneous cecostomy improves the quality of life in children with organic fecal incontinence. A satisfactory outcome is more prevalent in patients with neurogenic fecal incontinence than anorectal anomalies.
