Abstract

The authors describe a case of cutis laxa with striking roent-genographic findings. This rare dermatologic disorder, a primary abnormality of the connective tissues, may be manifested radiologically by changes in the lungs and gastrointestinal tract. The diagnosis of cutis laxa should be strongly considered when extensive diverticulosis of the gastrointestinal tract, hernias, and emphysema are observed in a patient with characteristic loose skin.
