This work presents the results of analysis of some case studies about the propagation of voltage unbalance in the electric grid aiming the evaluation of two methods used for this purpose named three-phase power flow and CIGRÉ methods. Initially are exposed these two methods and also the selected cases for computational simulations. Then, the parcels of the contributions of each source of unbalance are calculated for a radial system with transposed and non-transposed line and also in face of unbalanced loads. Due the fact that this subject matters to the electric utilities and consumers the recognition of efficiency of methods for analysis of propagation of unbalance are fundamental for studies directed to the analysis of shared responsibilities.
