Transport scattering coefficients from reflection and transmission measurements

Abstract

Moments of the emerging distributions for the one-speed homogeneous slab albedo problem are manipulated to provide a scheme for calculating the expansion coefficients of the scattering kernel of the medium. Simple equations for the highest-order and next-highest-order coefficients are given, and suggestions for their possible use in experiments are provided.
