Abstract

Abstract Arylsulfenyl isocyanates, which were in situ prepared from arylsulfenyl chlorides and silver (or sodium) cyanate, reacted with alcohols and primary amines at carbon of the isocyanato group to afford the corresponding arylsulfenylcarbamates and arylsulfenylureas, respectively.
