Incidence of pulmonary vein complications after lung transplantation: A prospective transesophageal echocardiographic study

Abstract

Abnormalities of the pulmonary veins are common after lung transplantation and are easily identified by transesophageal echocardiography. Occlusive thrombi appear to be detrimental to short-term outcome.
