Nonepileptic Posttraumatic Seizures

Abstract

Nonepileptic PTSs are frequently mistaken for epileptic PTSs and result in serious disability. The misdiagnosis of nonepileptic PTSs leads to ineffective and inappropriate treatment. Patients with intractable seizures after HIs, particularly mild HIs, should be carefully evaluated for NESs.
