ADDENDUM.-Since this paper was written three further cases of hypopituitarism have been given A.C.T.H.Two had post-partum Simmonds's disease, and the other had had a chromophobe adenoma which had been treated surgically and with pituitary irradiation.A.C.T.H. was given in doses of 12.5 mg.every six hours by intramuscular injection.All the patients showed both subjective and objective improvement, and the only undesirable effect was slight oedema in one case.
