Prevalence of Metabolic Syndrome among an Iranian Cohort of Inpatients with Schizophrenia

Abstract

Our results confirm the high prevalence of MetS in schizophrenic patients. These results clearly suggest the necessity for a careful monitoring and management of metabolic risk factors in this high-risk population.
