Abstract

The fatigue resistance of flexible polyurethane foam as predicted from stantard accelerated laboratory tests in influenced and/or biased by a number of experimental parameters. Static fatigue losses contain little if any permanent loss components and are more indicative of short term relaxation and recovery processes rather than long term durability. A majority of the roller shear dynamic fatigue losses are permanent although there is a significant temporary component
