Transformation and expression of an anaerobic fungal xylanase in several strains of the rumen bacterium<i>Butyrivibrio fibrisolvens</i>

Abstract

This stable transformation system with the accompanying recombinant plasmids will be a useful tool for further investigation aimed at improving ruminal fibre digestion.
