Abstract

A 20 week air monitoring program around a phosphorus plant at Long Harbor in Newfoundland, Canada, is reported. Fluorides in air, vegetation, and soil humus are determined. If the fluoride emissions are maintained at proposed national standards, there will be little visible damage to vegetation in the area. 1 table.
