A technique for predicting urea release from coated urea in wetland soil

Abstract

Abstract A simple technique for measuring urea release from different coated urea fertilizer materials in simulated wetland soil has been developed and tested. The laboratory soil system used simulates physical, chemical, and microbiological environments of wetland soils under field conditions. Laboratory and field values for urea release are in good agreement.
