The crystal structure of decammine-μ-peroxodicobalt tetrathiocyanate

Abstract

The compound [(NH~)sCoO2Co(NH3)5] (SCN)4 has been prepared and its structure determined. The space group is Pnnm No. 58, with a = 13.22, b = 10.58, c = 7.88/~. The two cobalt atoms are linked together by a peroxide group, each cobalt atom being bonded to one oxygen atom.
