Abstract

Thelow silicon operation with the silicon content of less than 0.2 '/ wa8 performed for 16 monthsfrom January, 1 988 to April, 1989at Fukuyama N0,5 blast furnace of NKK Corp. Thefollowing are thefactors attributable to this longterm low Si performance.
