Abstract Co‐ordinated multidisciplinary team working has made a significant contribution to improvements in the quality of care within stroke services over the past five years. Here, Dr Clarke reviews the evidence for the efficacy of multi disciplinary team care in stroke rehabilitation within both inpatient services and community settings.
