The Duffy Blood Group System in Caucasians.

Abstract

Abstract. The Duffy blood group phenotypes of 554 random, unrelated, Caucasian families and 1,492 of their children are reported. The gene frequencies calculated from the parental phenotypes are Fy x 0.424, Fy b 0.560, Fy x 0.015 and Fy 0.001. A second example of phenotype Fy x (almost certainly Fy x Fy x ) is included.
