Epidural clonidine relieves intractable neuropathic itch associated with herpes zoster-related pain

Abstract

High thoracic epidural infusion of bupivacaine and clonidine was beneficial in relieving neuropathic itch in a patient with acute herpes zoster-related pain in the distribution of the trigeminal nerve.
