Abstract

The energy dependence of the cross section for neutrino- and antineutrino-nucleon charged-current interactions has been determined from data taken in Fermilab's dichromatic neutrino beam. $\frac{{\ensuremath{\sigma}}^{\ensuremath{\nu}}}{E}=(0.669\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.003\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.024)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}38}$ ${\mathrm{cm}}^{2}$/GeV and $\frac{{\ensuremath{\sigma}}^{\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}}}{E}=(0.340\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.003\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.02)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}38}$ ${\mathrm{cm}}^{2}$/GeV are found. These results are higher than some previous measurements.
