The Urethral Pressure Profile: Theoretical Considerations and Clinical Application

Abstract

Summary A simple technique for the urethral pressure profile estimation has been studied and evaluated. The estimation would appear to be relatively free of sources of error. The diagnostic importance of the test in distinguishing between the normal patient and the patient with sphincter weakness has been discussed.
