Motivated by the recent experimental discovery of unsaturated ferromagnetism in some organic polymers, such as poly-BIPO, we study a class of quasi-one-dimensional organic polymeric chains. Describing these chains by a generalized Hubbard model, we rigorously show that the global ground state of this model has the ferrimagnetic long-range ordering. \textcopyright{} 1996 The American Physical Society.
