Absolute differential cross sections for elastic proton-proton scattering have been measured in the center-of-mass angular interval from 20\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{} to 90\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{} at 647 and 800 MeV with overall uncertainties of \ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{} (3-10)% and \ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{} (3-5)%, respectively. The data at 800 MeV are the most accurate so far reported at that energy. Comparison is made to earlier measurements and contemporary phase-shift analyses.NUCLEAR REACTIONS $^{1}\mathrm{H}(p,p)^{1}\mathrm{H}$, $E=647$, 800 MeV; measured $\ensuremath{\sigma}(\ensuremath{\theta})$; $\ensuremath{\theta}=23\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}\ensuremath{-}90\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}$, $\ensuremath{\Delta}\ensuremath{\theta}=3\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}$.
