All-optical sampling utilising two-photon absorption in semiconductor microcavity

Abstract

A highly-efficient optical sampling system based on two-photon absorption in a semiconductor microcavity is presented. The sensitivity of the sampling system is calculated to be 0.1 mW2 with a temporal resolution of 2 ps.
