Abstract

Prochlorperazine was effective and safe in the treatment of patients with refractory chronic daily headache with or without analgesic overuse. Compared with dihydroergotamine, prochlorperazine seemed less effective at achieving "freedom from headache" during hospitalization, but had a similar outcome at follow-up.
