Abstract

Aerosol NOS2 gene transfer increases pulmonary NO production and significantly reduces hypoxic pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary vascular remodeling. Aerosol NOS2 gene transfer may be a promising strategy to target pulmonary vascular disorders.
