Bronchoarterial Ratio on Thin Section CT: Comparison Between High Altitude and Sea Level

Abstract

Bronchoarterial ratio increases and bronchial wall thickness decreases with altitude. These findings are presumably related to hypoxic bronchodilatation and vasoconstriction.
