A new expression involving an infinte series of finite integral terms is derived for the bit error rate (BER) of DQPSK in slow Rician fading channels. The formula reduces to a new closed form BER expression for DQPSK in Rayleigh fading channels when the K factor (ratio of LOS to multipath power) equals zero.
