Equilibrium between Yttrium and Oxygen in Liquid Iron and Nickel.

Abstract

In order to investigatc the equilibrium betweenyttrium and oxygen in liquid iron and nickel, the deoxidation equilibrium of yttrium in liquid iron and nickel saturated with yttria has been measuredat the temperature ranges from 1 600 to 1 700'C using the sampling technique.
