New data on Carboniferous (Dinantian) trilobites from the Peak District, Derbyshire, England

Abstract

SUMMARY The stratigraphical distribution of trilobites in the Dinantian succession of the Peak District is summarised. Six new species of early Carboniferous trilobites: Bollandia columba, Bollandia rugiceps, Cummingella sampsoni, Griffithides whitewatsoni, Namuropyge glaphyra and Piltonia paucita are described.
