Partial Oxidation of Methane over Ni Catalysts Supported on Ce-ZrO2 Mixed Oxide

Abstract

Abstract A novel catalyst, Ni/Ce-ZrO2 exhibits very high catalytic activity and stability in partial oxidation of methane to synthesis gas. It gives 99.6% CH4 conversion at 850 °C and the activity was maintained for 100 h.
