Mechanism of Post Combustion in the Converter

Abstract

A study has been made to clarify the mechanism of post combustion on the basis of the hot metal experiment by the use of a 250-t converter and an 02-CO experimental combustion furnace and of the results of the decarburization experiment with a 10-t ladle.
