Complex-rotation method for spin-induced autoionization

We report the first complex-rotation calculation which incorporates spin-dependent perturbations. By using the intermediate $\mathrm{LSJ}$ coupling scheme, the lifetimes due to the spin-induced autoionization of the lithiumlike metastable $(1s2s2p)^{4}P_{\frac{5}{2}}$ state are determined along the isoelectronic series for $Z=2\ensuremath{-}10$ and $Z=16\ensuremath{-}18$. The results are compared with experimental measurements and other theoretical results.
