Abstract

Kathon® CG is a trade name for a mixture of methylchloroisothiazolinone and methylisothiazolinone (MCI/MI). Occupational allergic contact dermatitis from MCI/MI occurs not only in hairdressers and perfumers, but also in metalworkers, painters and bricklayers, the biocide being present in paints, lacquers, polishes, cleaning agents and construction materials.
