Estramustine-Induced Suicidal Erythrocyte Death

Abstract

Estramustine stimulates both, eryptosis and hemolysis. The estramustine induced translocation of phosphatidylserine to the cell surface is at least partially due to increase of cytosolic Ca2+ activity.
