Sympathetic Activation by Sildenafil

Abstract

Sildenafil causes a marked increase in sympathetic activation, evident both at rest and during stressful stimuli. Sympathetic activation by sildenafil may have implications for understanding cardiovascular events associated with sildenafil use.
