Abstract

FARMER'S lung resembles Loeffler's syndrome, for, at times, it manifests the triad of pulmonary infiltrations, eosinophilia and a benign clinical course. To relegate it to the long, uncritical list of causes of Loeffler's syndrome lends a mysterious air to the disease.1 Each new article mentions it until it is carried along because of repetition rather than because of an exacting analysis of its true position.
