CO Oxidation on Pt ‐ Ru / WO 3 Electrodes

electrodes were prepared by electrodepositing in an alcohol‐containing solution. The resulting electrodes showed higher catalytic activity toward oxidation than Pt‐Ru electrodes in acidic electrolyte. A type of weakly adsorbed was observed on such electrodes which can be oxidized at lower anodic potentials. It was found that temperature strongly affects the equilibrium coverage of , which is lower at higher temperatures.
