Air Pollution—A Review for Conservation Chemists

Abstract

This article attempts to discuss recent studies in the field of air pollution and conservation. They are concerned with those substances in air, other than oxygen, which are known to have pernicious effects on museum material. Substances which are poisonous only to living matter, are not included.
