58.3: 7‐inch Color VGA flexible TFT LCD on Colorless Polyimide Substrate with 200 °C a‐Si:H TFTs

Abstract

Abstract A 7‐inch VGA transmissive‐type active matrix TFT‐LCD display with a‐Si TFT fabricated on colorless polyimide (PI) substrate is demonstrated. The proposed colorless PI substrate has the features of high T g (∼350 °C) and high light transmittance (∼90%). The electrical and mechanical reliability for a‐Si TFT fabricated at 200 °C have also been studied.
