The Korringa‐Kohn‐Rostoker and Augmented Plane Wave Method for Non‐Spherically Symmetric Muffin‐Tin Potentials

Abstract

Abstract By means of an appropriate description of the scattering states of non‐spherically symmetric potentials a generalized KKR method is derived. As an example a lattice with several atoms per unit cell is considered. Also a generalized APW method is derived.
