Abstract

The localization of two nonpalpable colonic lesions by intraoperative fiberoptic colonoscopy was performed. The technique permitted precise placement of the colotomy incisions and eliminated the need for either segmental resection or operative endoscopy through opened bowel to locate the lesions.
