The Fermi surfaces of Nb, Mo and a Nb50Mo50 alloy have been studied by the two-dimensional angular correlation positron annihilation technique. The unusually high precision of the alloy data has enabled the authors to make a quantitative measurement of some major Fermi surface parameters.
