The structure of a triclinic potassium felspar

Abstract

The crystal structure of an intermediate microcline from Kodarma, India, has been determined. Using the atomic co-ordinates of sanidine as a starting point, initial refinement of the structure was made by seventeen successive Fo and (Fo--.Fc) Fourier projections parallel to the a and c axes.
