Optical pseudocolouring through contrast reversal filtering

Abstract

A method of optical pseudocolouring of gray levels based on the addition of a coherent contrast reversed image and an incoherent image is proposed. The principle of the method and the experimental set-up are described and some experimental colour results are presented. © 1979
