MnNiO3 is a ferrimagnetic compound, belonging to the ilmenite type. The sublattices of Mn4+ and Ni2+ are coupled antiferromagnetically as the sublattices of Fe3+ in hematite. The saturation magnetization at T=0°K is 0.76μB.
